Hurst Competition/Plus installation kit is for 1963-1968 Muncie (451) transmissions and contains everything needed (shifter not included) to install your Competition/Plus shifter to operate your Muncie (451) transmission. These transmissions can be identified by the fact they have a stud on the shift forks that secure the shift arm on the transmission with a nut. This kit will fit many GM applications and year ranges of vehicles, both with and without factory consoles and a 1963-1968 Muncie (451) transmission.

Note: 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmissions use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork of the transmission and will require a different installation kit then this one.

This installation kit fits the following vehicles with a Muncie (451) transmission:
1967-1968 Chevrolet Camaro with/without console.
1968 Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova with/without console
1967-1968 Pontiac Firebird with/without console
